Mike and I recently have been requested to start leading Couple’s Adventures and especially Boot Camps and workouts. This is an exciting time for us as we both personally recognize the importance of working out with our “other half”. Mike and I went through a journey together with working out. He is obviously a lot bigger and stronger than I am and he wanted to do intense muscle building workouts to get bigger and look stronger. I am a circuit kinda gal and love quick intense toning workouts. This seems to be the problem with many couples who want to workout together. One partner usually doesn’t dig the toning, functional circuit training and the other partner is not really into the building bigger massive muscles. So, throughout our own struggles and researching what works and what does not work we have combined the two so we can both get what we need from our hour of training together.

We have seen amazing results both in couple’s relationships and in their bodies, minds and spirits! There is truly something about having that one hour or more dedicated to sharing, bonding, playing and working together. There is also a wonderful sense of team building as we focus on really having the partners be a true team.

If you can build your “team”, your foundation, your family starting with yourself first and then your partner nothing can stop you. We do see a split in relationships sometimes when one partner tends to train completely for him or herself and the other partner has absolutely no interest in doing that particular style of training. It is healthy to have our “own thing” indeed. AND there is really something to coming together as a team and compromising, learning how to incorporate both of your styles and then co-creating your own style as partners.

The benefits of working out together are priceless. Partners are able to bond, to flirt with each other, to encourage and play with each other, to build their own solid foundation as individuals and then as a team! Truly we see a lot of couples who feel separate or not on the same team health wise. Working out together and dedicating that one hour every two or three times a week really does make a difference. Couples start to have clarity about what they want together and how really the only thing that matters is what they are creating as a team. The external really does not matter but indeed starting with the individual, the partnership, the family, the home…..that is what matters.

We encourage you to be open to training and building the best YOU ever! Let’s do it and let’s watch our selves and our relationships grow and blossom! Let’s make this life an adventure and a darn good one! Go TEAM FAB!
